The 'Norwegian Star' was built by Meyer Werft for Norwegian Cruise Lines to operate 7-day cruises in the Pacific Isles. Details are given of the vessel's azipod propulsion system, manoeuvrability and positioning capabilities, bridge electronics, safety equipment, waste management systems, passenger cabins, atrium, lounges, dining rooms, air condition system and galleys.
