摘要
A time domain analysis of moored ship motions considering harbor oscillations was proposed in a previous study. In this paper, a comparison has been made with the field results of 90,000 DWT coal carrier for the moored ship motions, mooring rope tensions, fender deformations and the inside harbor waves under the long-period waves. It has been demonstrated that the proposed time domain analysis of the moored ship motions considering harbor oscillations has a reasonable accuracy. However, the actual predominant long-period ship motions, the amplification factors and the surface elevations of the inside harbor waves could not be predicted accurately. In order to improve the accuracy of the time domain analysis, it is necessary to improve the computational technique of harbor oscillations.
