A study is made of the effect of Fe, Al and Ti impurities on the liquid-vapor-equilibrium in 5% and 30% MgCl//2 solutions. It is shown that during purification by the salt distillation method, using magnesium chloride as the separating agent, low-volatility impurities consisting of Fe, Al and Ti chlorides are accumulated in the circulating MgCl//2 solution.
