摘要
The adaptability of smooth blasting with slurry explosives initiated by detonators was studied by changing the composition of the explosives. We prepared some explosives with low throat diameter and low density to study on a laboratory scale their basic performance such as channel effect, minimum initiator diameter, detonation velocity, etc. The properties of this explosive during smooth blasting in a concrete tests block were compared with those of PETN, and dynamite which are traditional explosives with different detonation characteristics. Lastly, when the blasting trials were conducted at a bench for rock crushing, it was confirmed that a slurry explosive with lower density is most suitable for smooth blasting.
