摘要
It is shown on a laboratory apparatus that in the process of aerobic stabilization the dehydrogenase activity (DA) of sludge decreases as a result of inhibition of the process of reduction of triphenyltetrazoliumchloride (TTC) by nitrates which appear in the sludge suspension when nitrification develops. An equation was developed on the basis of the experimental data, describing this inhibition. It is shown that during aerobic stabilization of sludge for 8 days the dehydrogenase activity of the sludge decreases insignificantly with consideration of the nitrate concentration.
