摘要
This article explains a video projection entertainment system designed exclusively for aircraft use. This Aero-Video system has been developed for installation in aircraft such as the B-747 or DC-10. The picture image from a VTR, video camera or TV tuner can be projected onto a 50 double prime video projector screen in each cabin of the aircraft. Effort was required to satisfy all of the special requirements for aircraft use, such as compact design, light weight, extra safety precautions, less interference effect, and vibration-proof operation. This video projector has half the size, half the weight, half the power consumption and twice the brightness of the conventional type, and can be viewed and enjoyed without closing curtains on cabin windows.
