Conditions for the coprecipitation of hydroxides of aluminum and rare-earth elements from the Al(NO3)3-Ln(NO3)3-NH 4OH-H2O system (Ln = La, Sm) by NH3·H2O solutions at 25°C were studied. The resulting precipitates were investigated by thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray phase analysis. ©2001 MAIK Nauka/Interperiodica.
