He will expect to have electronic confirmation of any emergency from his addressable, intelligent unit and mimic display will be brought to one of the several video monitors with information instantly provided to him of the speed, direction and spread of any fire. His microcomputer will put up evacuation plans from specially prepared floppy disks, while exclusive BT lines will give him immediate contact with the local fire brigade and other emergency services.
