摘要
The vulnerability of electric and electronic equipment including cable, to parasitic signals, and the costly methods used to obtain electromagnetic compatibility are examined. A magnetic composite material, Musorb, is described, that is being introduced in France for shielding and insulation of cables, as it absorbs the electromagnetic energy of undesirable frequencies transforming it into heat. The choice of ferrites and its granulometry permit the variations in the materials absorption characteristics. Various applications of Musorb are indicated.
