摘要
Present-day development trends of three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motors are outlined marking reference to the 90-th anniversary of the construction of the first motors of this type. Special attention is directed to energy-saving motors and to motors fed from SCR frequency converters. Problems connected with the further development of squirrel-cage motors are considered.
