摘要
Peculiarities of design of equipment based on the application of acoustic emission (AE) phenomena are considered and requirements as to its parameters and selection of the design scheme to ensure correct study of the mechanical characteristics of the materials as well as load-bearing capacity of the construction are stated. AE systems 'Signal' developed and employed in scientific studies at the Institute of Strength Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, as well as test results and peculiarities of the acoustic signal diagram taking account of loading and temperature conditions are described.
