摘要：

To assess the possible effects of the heat discharge on coastal water quality and ecosystems, a mathematical model is developed and applied to the simulation of the evolution of the thermal plume in different typical situations. The hydrodynamic parameters related to residual and tidal currents, shear and eddy diffusion coefficients are precalculated using the methods of Math. Modelsea. The results of the mathematical simulation are illustrated in a typical case.
