摘要
The article considers vibrations of a closed spherical shell with a vibration-damping laminar coating. The investigation is based on the theory of multilayer bodies. Allowance for the viscoelastic properties of the layer materials under steady-state vibrations is based on the theory of complex moduli. The efficiency of the vibration-damping laminar coating is evaluated on the basis of the relative energy dissipation. Computer-obtained numerical results reveal the effect of various parameters on the vibrations of a spherical shell with a coating.
