Model studies made it possible to carry out an analysis of the working cycle of a compressor for an arbitrary working fluid, which is of great significance, especially in the case of refrigerator compressors working on superheated steam, for which the Clapeyron equation cannot be used to describe the thermodynamic state of the working fluid.
