摘要：

This article shows what savings are being achieved at the plating facilities of Poland's Katowice car plant by using some modern British effluent treatment and sludge reclamation equipment. While meeting Poland's very strict pollution prevention standards, the effluent and sludge treatment facilities described here provide significant annual savings in chromic acid, nickel sulfate, water for reuse in rinsing in all process plants, zinc and copper.
