摘要：
This invention relates to an image input system, where scan line data are usually compressed simultaneously with the scanning, but in the case that a scan time of one line is not enough to compress a complete line, the remaining line portion which cannot be compressed in that time is stored in a non-compression mode. The above line portion can be compressed after the entire image has been scanned.
