摘要
Results are presented of fatigue strength tests of smooth and notched specimens of manganese, manganese-nickel, manganese-vanadium, and chrome-low-manganese steels in undeformed and cold deformed (by 10 - 50%) state. The effect of aging on fatigue strength is investigated. It is shown that upon alloying of manganese steels with nickel (up to 6%), their fatigue strength remains, in practice, unchanged. Additional alloying of austenitic manganese steel with carbide-forming elements (Cr, V), as well as hardening by cold plastic deformation, increase its endurance limit.
