摘要
ENCOMPASS is a database and transaction management system that provides Tandem customers high-level software to develop and install on-line transaction processing applications in a distributed environment. This paper outlines the exisiting parts of the ENCOMPASS product set and then discusses some of the work currently underway in each of the areas to provide further capabilities in the distributed database and transaction environments.
