Determination of cable tension on cable-stayed bridge

摘要
According to forced characteristics of cable on cable-stayed bridge, a new method determining cable tension is provided. Testing mechanism of the sensor is researched and the relation between test signal and tension is deduced. The research results demonstrate that the determining method can eliminate errors brought by pivot conditions and selfweight and bending stiffness of the cable and can realize high precision and shortcut testing for the cable on cable-stayed bridge.
