摘要
If the condition of flexural capacity and deflection is satisfied, partial shear connection can be used for the design of composite steel-concrete beams, which is beneficial to cost reduction and construction convenience. Shear connection degree has an effect on the flexural capacity and deflection of composite beams. Four specimens are investigated of composite beams with partial shear connection. According to the experimental research on the test beams and analyses of other available test results of 8 composite steel-concrete beams with partial shear connection, the formulae, with clear physical idea and mode, are derived for the ultimate flexural capacity with consideration of shear connection degree. The predicted values are in good agreement with experimental results.
