摘要
Network interfaces for all the customer equipment that will appear in the INS Model System must be designed on the basis of a consistent and integrated philosophy. In this context, the present paper describes the thought of hard/soft partitioning based on a layered reference model, as well as providing a detailed design of each layer in the network interfaces. As a result of applying the design method presented here to customer equipment implementation, we could attain ordinary telephone service through office power feedings, and realize integrated telecommunication service capabilities.
