A study is made of the conditions of synthesis of a material based on molybdenum disilicide with additives of various varieties of silica differing in their textural characteristics. A method of introducing silicon dioxide by precipitating it from sols of polysilicic acid is proposed. A study is made of the effect of ceramic additives on the rate of sintering and recrystallization of MoSi//2 grains. It is shown that the ceramic intermediate layer, by preventing the occurrence of diffusion processes, inhibits the process of densification and recrystallization of molybdenum disilicide.
