摘要：
Analytical expressions for the shape factor values are derived that produce accurate results of conduction values of heat through drops. Heat transfer rates are the limiting mechanism in dropwise condensation. It is shown that the drop Nusselt number is independent of the type of condensing fluid and is a constant for a particular shape and size of a drop and that heat transfer rate is directly proportional to the drop diameter and contact angle of drop.
