Submicrometer particle size distribution of biomass aerosols observed during the aerosol and indoex field studies

Particle size distribution measurements were performed during the AEROSOL field campaign and during INDOEX. A Tandem Differential Mobility Particle Sizer (TDMPS)-System was used to characterize the dry particle size distribution in the size range 3-800 nm. During the expedition, aerosol from biomass burning was transported from the African continent over the Ocean. The particle size distributions observed were statistically analyzed.
