摘要
An inverter controlled CO2 gas shielded arc welder was developed which contains a microcomputer for controlling the current and voltage waveforms. The values of current and voltage can be shifted to any level at any time during short circuit and/or arc duration. Using the new waveform control method, spatter decreased. Compared with the conventional method with a thyristor controled power source, sticking spatter on the nozzle and base metal decreased to 1/5 and 1/50, respectively.
