摘要
Thermonics is a methodology of ground-water flow system analysis based upon the distribution of heat within the subsurface as influenced by moving ground water. Problems dealt with are the location of zones of high ground-water inflow into open pit mines; location of optimal well sites; tracing buried stream channels as an aid to uranium exploration; and tracing paths of seepage beneath and downstream of dam embankments.
