摘要
A mechanism of low-temperature activated sintering of powders with an imperfect structure in the presence of activator additions has been proposed. The diffusional penetration of an activator into sintered powder particles along defects (dislocations, grain boundaries, etc. ) gives rise to primary activated recrystallization. Under the influence of surface tension, superplasticity occurs under conditions of nucleation of an ultra-fine grain structure.
