Microwaves in Europe: Current trends and future prospects

摘要：
The issues related European microwave industry discussed at European Microwave week are presented. The technology is moving towards the use of microwave and RF in higher levels of integration of components. The future prospects of wireless technologies such as 3G is also discussed. In order to optimize the use of resources and provide lower overheads in the industry, a move towards outsourcing to efficient and flexible subcontractors is required. Europe played a minor role in semiconductor development due to a significant shift in manufacturing towards Asia and China, where growth is set to continue.
