摘要
Compositional materials (CM) based on directionally, crystallized eutectics (DCE) are interesting for use as creep-resistant engineering materials. Specimens of fibrous DCE Al-Al9Co2 were used. Two kinds of specimen were investigated. The first had regular dual-phase compositional structure with λ1=3-5 μm between intermetallic fibres Al9Co2, fibre diam 0.2-0.4 μm. There was no regular compositional structure in the second kind of specimens. The fibres were irregularly arranged, the mean distances between them λ2=20-100 μm, and in addition, there were regions with no fibres. The mechanical properties were studied on flat specimens.
