摘要：
This paper describes the instrument and control system for a small diameter mechanical shield machine which is operated by one man at the control desk in the operator box in the access shaft. In order to construct a small diameter tunnel 1200 mm in diameter, a system was developed which adopted a new method of shield machine attitude measurement for improving the shield direction, and automatic cutter torque control maintained constant cutter torque.
