摘要
The authors investigated the kinetics of reversible temper embrittlement of steel 40Kh2M with different contents of molybdenum and impurities (phosphorus). The task was to study the kinetics of temper embrittlement given identical softening during tempering and a correspondingly unchanged structure of the metal. The isothermal diagrams shown are C-shaped curves of the achievement of the same values of the temperature of the brittle-tough transition and impact toughness at room ( plus 23 degree C) and reduced ( minus 40 degree C) temperatures.
