Purification of model and actual sewage of aluminum is studied in laboratory and experimental-industrial conditions. The effects of filter mediums, immobilized microflora, and introduction of Rhodococcus rubropertinctus on aluminum removal from sewage are studied. Optimal technological conditions are established for operation of the pilot commercial unit under chemical oxygen demand of the initial flow up to 300 mg O/l, aluminum content of 100 mg/l, and anion-active surfactants up to 45 mg/l. The purification degree for aluminum amounts to 88-98%.
