摘要：
This paper describes how demands in service and ease of installation have encouraged developments in refractory castables. The need for higher strength, lower porosity and better corrosion resistance to metal and slags forced foundrymen to look to refractory castables where the conventional clay bonded ramming mixes were not giving the required service.
