Application of adaptive wavelet data compression algorithm in continuous recorder

摘要
As for the mass data of continuous recorder and the shorter fault lasting time in symmetric power system, an adaptive recorded data compression algorithm based on wavelet transform and Clark transform is proposed to store the mass data in limited storage of continuous recorder. The abnormal data are distinguished from the normal data with the maximum wavelet proportion coefficient. The abnormal data is compressed by a method combining wavelet decomposition, adaptive threshold processing and Lz77. The normal data is compressed by the adaptive threshold wavelet algorithm after the Clark transform to improve the compression ratio. The Simulink model is used to simulate the normal and abnormal states of transmission line to verify its validity. Simulation results suggest its higher compression rate.
