Efficient distributed query based on dispatching cloud data

摘要
There exists the communication cost between cloud servers for distributed query. To decrease the communication cost, we periodically dispatches the data between servers, which let the requested data be stored on as few servers as possible. Therefore, the distributed query needs only to access a fewer number of servers than the existing methods. Experiment results show that, as the decreasing of communication cost between servers, our method is more efficient than the two existing methods in the distributed query. Furthermore, our method can stably decrease the average number of servers related the distributed query with the system running. Copyright © 2014 Binary Information Press.
