Materials & parts handling

Various materials handling control systems such as dryers, feeders, blenders, loaders, metal detectors, level sensors, mechanical and pneumatic conveyors, silos, pumps, filters, valves, box fillers, and bag dumpers provided by domestic and international suppliers are presented at NPE 2006. The systems offer low cost, higher efficiency, energy saving, and higher accuracy in metering/feeding to its customers. Installation and upgradation services of pneumatic conveying systems are provided by firms such as AEC, K-Tron, Lorenz, MEyer, Mould-tek, Premier Pneumatics, Process control, Progressive Products, which provides everything from wear resistant tubing elbows to vacuum pumps. Control and monitoring of whole plant by a single PC system can be done by Mould-tek's new Excel system. Feeders and blenders of improved accuracy and faster changeover (additive feeders for less than 1 lb/hr to gravimetric blenders for 10,000 lb/hr) are provided by AccuRate, and Acrison, and Colortronics.
