摘要
Based on analysis of transportation system hypotheses for traffic equilibrium assignment model, this paper discusses the modeling method for continuous traffic analysis model and introduces its main characteristics and development process. The basic mathematic modeling method for single attraction point is given. The plane based continuous traffic analysis model is a new approach for regional transportation analysis. The major assumption of this modeling method is that the regional transport system can be regard as planar system and hence the characteristics of the network can be represented by smooth mathematical functions. Its application research demonstrates that it is an efficient method for large scale transportation planning, traffic control and logistic analysis.
