Research on the growing design process of products and the key technology

摘要
The mechanical design was focusing on the Computer-Aided Conceptual Design. Based on the growth theory of the product design, the model of growth design process was presented. The key technology like the data structure of product, knowledge library of the design and conceptual form-to-detailed form mapping were studied for supporting the growth design process in the CAD systems, and the automated software of conceptual design was developed. The example of designing a project problem explained the availability and practicability of the theory and technology mentioned above.
