摘要
To fabricate high voltage, high energy density ceramic capacitors, the effects of different amounts of PbO-SiO2 (PS) glass additive on the densification behavior and dielectric properties of Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3 ceramics were investigated. The results show that the PS glass effectively decreases the sintering temperature, increases the densification and refines the grain size of Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3 ceramics. The dielectric properties of Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3 ceramics are improved with the appropriate amount of PS glass additive. The Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3 ceramics with 1% (in mass) PS glass are densified at 1100C, with high relative density of 98.3%, and average breakdown strength of 15.4 kV/mm, which is increased by a factor of 1.5 compared with that of pure Ba0.4Sr0.6TiO3 ceramics; the relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss are 1179 and 6 × 10-4 at 1 kHz, respectively.
