摘要
A simple and convenient 3-D temperature simulation model is developed to deal with the large amount of CPU time in this paper. The control equations are solved with the arithmetic operator splitting technique according to the characteristic of each physical process. That is, the implicit scheme is used in fast physical processes while the explicit scheme is used in slow physical processes. The baroclinic pressure gradient expression and horizontal diffusion expression in sigma coordinate are treated by the removal of z-plane mean value. At last, the model is applied in two examples cases, which show the model is reliable and efficient.
