Marking method for cell fluorescent images based on density extraction

摘要
Many marking algorithms based on pixel connections or density reachability criterion often give unstable or incorrect results for cell fluorescent images with discontinuous objects. A modified density reachability method was developed for such images based on an improved search method and the density extraction scheme. The results show that this method can mark the cells with small discontinuous objects successfully, which is more stable and more accurate than previous algorithms.
