Healthcare service process modeling was very complex, it was hard to use traditional software engineering method to obtain its model. Aiming at this problem, a novel healthcare service process modeling method, which based on process mining, was proposed. A modeling example of diagnosis & treatment process for bronchial asthma was given to illustrate how to collect event logs, analyze duplicate tasks, and detect invisible tasks. The process mining algorithm was modified according to the features of healthcare service process. And the improved algorithm was more adaptive to the healthcare environment. Finally, a plug-in tool in PROM was developed to implement this algorithm.
