Two various techniques of solution calorimetry were applied to determine thermochemical properties of Nd4-2xBa2+xCu2Oz solid solutions (x = 0; 0.1). A satisfactory agreement between results of different experiments is observed. The heat capacity of Nd4-2xBa2+xCu2Oz has been measured by using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) in the temperature range of 173-573 K. The results were consistent with the values calculated by Neumann-Kopp's law. © 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved;
