摘要
Nano-crystal cobalt ferrite was synthesized from waste lithium ion batteries through a hydrothermal process. The effects of additives on the magnetic properties of Co-ferrite were studied. Their characterizations were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectrophotometer (IR), thermogravimetry (TG) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results showed that cobalt ferrite was conducive to the generation and the improvement of magnetic properties by adding appropriate amount of glacial acetic acid, but excessive addition of glacial acetic acid would make the final product contain acetic acid roots, while also reducing the magnetic properties of cobalt ferrite. In the precipitation process, adding citric acid additives was not in favour of the formation of cobalt ferrite.
