Layer-by-layer self-assembly polyaniline thin film doped with different acids and its spectrum and conductivity performance

The polyaniline thin film is prepared by alternated self-assembly and doped with hydrochloric acid (HCl), p-Toluene sulphonic acid (PTS), 4-dodecyl benzenesu1fonic acid (DBSA). UV-vis and IR spectrum of these polyaniline films and the influence of different doped acids on the structure and conductivity of these polyaniline films were studied. The absorbance of UV-vis spectrum was enhanced by an increase in the layer of the films. The characteristic peaks in UV-vis and IR spectrum of the polyaniline thin films moved to long wavelength after doped with acids. The conductivity of polyaniline thin films doped with PTS and DBSA were also more excellent than that of the film doped with HCl.
