The application of neural network in the microwave method for measuring the humidity

摘要
The humidity is an important parameter in the process of printing and dyeing cloth during the textile industry. Therefore, the measurement for the humidity of the fabric is very significant. In this paper, it proposes a set of measurement system based on the introduction to the microwave method for measuring the humidity. This system has advantages at high accuracy and wide measurement range, non-contact measurement and so on. In the paper different kinds of cloth were tested with the measurement system. After the test, data gotten by measuring were trained and simulated through neural network, and were compared with the results by weighting method. The result shows that microwave method has a high precision in measuring the humidity and has a good application future.
