Closed-loop control modeling and dynamic performance analysis of 400 Hz active filter

With the introduction of the source current direct control based active power filter (APF), the closed-loop control model of the APF is derived and analyzed. The analysis reveals the mechanism of the dynamic characteristics of this control method and indicates that the close-loop control based APF has a poor performance in the 400 Hz applications. Based on the classical control theory, the load active current feedforward compensation is introduced to solve the problem. The control mechanism is described and the influences of the key parameters on system performance are analyzed. The experimental results show that with feedforward compensation, the source current is responding well to the load change. The 400 Hz aeronautical active power filter obtains a good dynamic performance. ©, 2014, Chinese Machine Press. All right reserved.
