A series of water-ethanol vapor mixtures experiments on Marangoni condensation outside tube was performed based on an experimental apparatus of mixed vapor condensation. During experiment visualization study was carried out and many condensation pictures were recorded. The effect of vapor concentration on heat transfer coefficient, and the influence of cooling water flow on wall temperature, was both studied. The investigation showed that heat transfer coefficient decreased when increased the concentration of the alcohol, heat transfer coefficient reached the peak value for 1% concentration, it could be augmented as much as 30% as compared with pure water vapor under similar experimental condition. Qualitative analysis on heat transfer coefficient with concentration change was also made.
