摘要
Determining reasonable service coverage of an airport is one of the important prerequisite for airports management. Aiming at the common unscientific approach of delimitating airports service coverage based on administrative division, this paper analyzes the factors which restricts the area of an airport influence and then introduces the principles of weighted Voronoi diagram. It also examines the feasibility of its applying to delimitate airports service coverage. In the last section, the paper provides an example to illustrate the solving of the problem. It is found that the approach of delimitating airports service coverage based on weighted Voronoi diagram is more suitable for the objective situation of civil aviation market than that based on administrative division.
