Study on an improved SVPWM algorithm

It has a low efficiency and numerous harmonic for the SPWM (space pulse width modulation) algorithm. The structure of SVPWM algorithm is complex. Aiming at these problems, an improved SVPWM (space vector pulse width modulation) algorithm is studied in this paper. Using simple addition, subtraction and logical operations with the two input orthogonal sinusoidal voltages Uα and Uβ, it got the sector where the synthetic vector was located. Then the action time of basis synthetic vector in this sector could be obtained by means of looking up the table, and thus the action time of three-phase synthetic circular flux was calculated. According to the principle of pulse width modulation, the circular flux pulse could be output. So the algorithm was realized. The results of simulations show that the algorithm is correct. And the algorithm applied in the asynchronous motor system is realized the function.
